Königlicher Salzwedeler Baumkuchen

I only bought one to try, because I am such a Baumkuchen fan. I will never buy one from the supermarket again. It is made fresh and so of course it does not keep for long. Without preservatives that is simply how it is, and that is a good thing.

I was given one this week for my 70th birthday. My dear friends came all the way to Salzwedel especially for it and really did surprise me. The joy was enormous.

I find Salzwedel Baumkuchen the very best by far. I have tried others, but they do not come close to it. That is why I ordered some online, as I live too far away. I am looking forward to it. It is a piece of memory.

Salzwedel Baumkuchen is always a treat, and even though it costs rather more, nothing else has come close for me so far. A pleasure every time. There are memories attached to it, of my youth, of my apprenticeship in the Altmark – that is always something special.

Mine have just arrived and I am simply delighted. At that price the purchase is really worth it. Now I am waiting to taste them. Keep up the good work.
